About us.

Boutique supply chain consulting.

GTL is a boutique supply chain consulting group located in the San Francisco Bay Area. We specialize in Customs compliance integration and achieving optimal supply chain efficiency, drawing upon the depth and breadth of our experience to offer personally tailored solutions that fit the size and unique characteristics of your business.

Customs compliance is a critical component of any company’s supply chain strategy. Fragmented supply chains and inefficient compliance processes often result in delayed shipments, unnecessary risk, and avoidable fines and penalties. With streamlined processes that adhere to relevant customs regulations across every stage of their supply chains, companies can avoid costly disruptions and labor-intensive interventions that could otherwise have been avoided.

For 25 years, GTL has collaborated with U.S. Customs and various trade advisory groups, saving our clients millions of dollars through implementation of a variety of strategies, including: transforming supply chains through end-to-end organizational restructuring, updating processes, establishing bonded warehouses and foreign trade zones, classification testing, and last-mile examinations. Our goal is to empower you to confidently manage your compliance programs within your supply chain and continue to adapt as the industry advances.

GTL is a member of U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s Trade Support Network and serves as executive chair of the Bonded Warehouses Trade Group.

Roberta L. Hamilton

Roberta builds strong foundations for retail product compliance, by evaluating the feasibility of centralizing the collection of product data such as attributes, product characteristics and components for import and export compliance at the front end of the supply chain.

Roberta held positions of increasing responsibility in key supply chain functions, including inbound logistics, import operation, international transportation and distribution operations that included extensive travel to Japan, Thailand and the Philippines before starting Global Trade Logistics LLC in 2006.

Roberta spent many years traveling between Singapore, Hong Kong and Europe where she served as the US representative coaching, vendors, suppliers and service providers on US Import/Export requirements on behalf of her clients.
